Anybody Still There?

I am a lame blogger...I am lame and lazy! But I have a question rolling around in my brain and its driving me absolutely batty! How do you know when you're done having children? Will I know for sure? I thought during my entire pregnancy with Colin that he would be my last baby. But when I left the hospital with him, I was already thinking how the birth of our third child would be different. Logistically, having more children just doesn't make much sense. We'd need a bigger car at least...not to mention having to double up kids in bedrooms (not a big deal) and of course having to send them all to college! My mind tells me we are done, but my heart is telling me that it has room for at least one more...

So...I'm a little late with our holiday wishes, oh well! The holidays were an absolutely whirlwind of activity this year and I am quite surprised that Greg and I survived! Our life since the last update, in a nutshell...

We made the 13-hour trek to Glens Falls/Queensbury, New York. Our last trip out, we drove straight through the night and we thought this worked quite well. We didn't have anything to lose, so that is what we attempted to do this year. We timed our departure for the lull between two snow storms and drove like the wind! Kelsey decided she could not miss one second of the sites (we drove thru Niagra, in the dark...about the only interesting site we saw) between here and there...and was awake for pretty much the whole drive! Colin was passed out and snoring...typical man! While in New York, we stayed in a hotel which was rather nice this time. Kelsey loved having her own huge bed and a swimming pool! Things Kelsey did not like....waking up in strange places, nightmares, and shrimp. Kelsey, shrimp, and a hotel room do not mix very well. Barf biscuits everywhere! Anyhow, we had a great time visiting with family and have made plans to travel east again this summer for a week at the lake (Loon Lake). We love going to camp :)

We timed our trip back home between two more snow storms and were able to spend Christmas at home. We like waking up in our own beds! Here are our two cuties on Christmas Eve...

When you have two kids, they obviously don't want to look at the same time...so how do you choose which picture to share with others? I picked this one because my squishy little man is just too cute...and Kelsey's pjs are at least showing in this picture!

That is basically our holiday update. Kelsey is just now starting to realize she has a little brother who likes attention too. We've been experiences lots of whining, a little bit of potty training regressioin, and lots of temper tantrums (Little Renee anyone?). Oh joy! Proof of Big Sister realizing that Little Brother is here and gets attention...
