Our Playset Wonderland

Just because I never posted pictures of this...

The tower under the canopy is high enough for an adult man to stand under.

The sandbox has a trap door on a hinge that swings up and latches to the wall, this is Colin's favorite part of the playset.

Land ho!

A total of 4 swing spots; current set up includes two "big kid" swings, one baby swing, and a glider

The playset also includes a rock climbing wall on the back side, a wavy slide, and monkey bars that can/will be raised up, but are lower to the ground now so that Kelsey can just drop down (she can go all the way across now, muscle girl).

The playset was built entirely by Greg and his Father (Wayne). I am not sure if Wayne gathered ideas or if he designed it from square one. But the first weekend of construction, all I know is that Wayne showed up with blue prints, a "shopping list" and a list of cuts that each board was to under go. Pretty impressive!
The kids love the playset and I am so glad to have it!

My Heart

We had our very first family pictures done since Colin has been in our lives. With two small children, I was not expecting it to be an easy process...and it wasn't! Kelsey pushed Colin off the stool at some point and he was not happy. This led to him stuck to me like velcro! Thank goodness it happened after we captured our family picture, as that was my main goal of the morning.

The two little people and the man who helped me create this little family of ours...well, I just can't say enough about them...they are my everything!

Home Again

We returned late Saturday night from a fabulous 10-day trip to New York. We wasted no time and jumped back into our weekly routine of playgroup Monday morning. I promise a photo-filled post of our trip, but I wanted to share a few pictures of my favorite little boy and girl from our visit with friends at Meijer Gardens...
